Rosa Julia Campbell discovered her love for acting at a young age when she was cast as Cruella DeVil in 101 Dalmations Jr. Ever since then, she has continued her study of the arts, taking classes in music and theatre throughout her school years.

Rosa also found an appreciation for all of the work backstage when she accepted a year long technical internship at Theatre Baton Rouge. There she learned how to build and paint sets, getting involved in many different productions there including The Music Man and Next to Normal.

Simultaneous to her work at TBR, Rosa began her work on her first short film, acting as Cecelia in the Civil War epic, With My Soul. With My Soul went on to be screened at the Louisiana International Film Festival and won Best Short Film (2016).

Rosa has continued her study of performance and musical theatre at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA. She has taken classes in Shakespeare, dialects, tap, jazz, and ballet, to name just a few. She also continued her technical theatre studies there in the costume shop, working on the costumes for shows that she performed in, including Dangerous Liaisons and the annual Christmas Gala.

Her most recent professional credits include Susan in Tick, Tick...Boom!, Karla in The Bikinis, and Anna in Graceland at the Canterbury Summer Theatre in Michigan City, Indiana.
